MARIA BARTIROMO, CNBC ANCHOR: Apple Computer at it again. The company rolling out a couple of new products its hoping will have the magic of the iPod. Shown the way Apple thinks they`ll look in your living room, the new version of its Mac Mini is compact computer that can work with a remote and use a TV as monitor. It`s powered by two types of Intel chips and it is priced at $599 and $799. The iPod hi-fi is like a home stereo that plays music from the iPod. That costs $349 and it goes on sale today. The devices failing to lift the stock today. In fact, that stock was down nearly 4 percent in an overall weak performance for technology.
Apple is not the only one out with new product releases. Microsoft is going to soon unveil its new gadget called the Origami, a music player, PDA, Smart phone and more.
