MOBILE phone text addicts are being warned their constant messaging could be damaging their health.
The Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) said it was concerned the repetitive movements involved in tapping out the texts could cause injuries to hands, wrists and arms.
They have produced a guide for mobile and gadget users to help prevent them suffering "text message injury".
Figures suggest the number of text messages sent every day has risen to 100m. The Mobile Data Association also predicts that 36.5bn text messages will be sent during 2006 - up 14 per cent on last year.
