England midfielder Steven Gerrard looks set to play at least 45 minutes of tomorrow's friendly against Uruguay at Anfield - despite Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez's desire for him to be rested.
England coach Sven-Goran Eriksson said he understands Rafael Benitez's concerns, and is confident he won't need the midfielder for the full 90 minutes. However, the Swede is keen to pair Gerrard with Frank Lampard to give his preferred central midfield combination valuable match time.
