People with disabilities who want help to make changes in their lives and people seeking healthier lifestyles are among those in South Yorkshire who will benefit from GBP3,049,169 in grants announced today by the Big Lottery Fund for 23 groups in Yorkshire and Humberside.

Organisations receiving the Lottery good cause grants include Scope and Healthy Cross Community Project.

The awards are helping voluntary and community groups to reach out to those most in need by supporting services that are creating vibrant, healthy and safe communities …
