BRADENTON -- Kenneth William Holmes thought it would "look really cool" to rig his Crown Victoria with blue lights so it looked like an undercover police car.
Plus, he could race through traffic and make it home in record time.
But a judge on Monday called Holmes' little plan irresponsible, self-centered and dangerous, then sentenced the Bradenton man to 60 days in jail.
Authorities arrested Holmes, 26, last summer after a sheriff's helicopter caught him running red lights and stop signs on his way home from the Smokin' Martini in Palmetto, where he was the manager.
