MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Feb. 26 /PRNewswire-AsiaNet/ --
Benitec Ltd. (ASX: BLT), a leading developer of RNA interference (RNAi)-based therapeutics, announced today that Ray Iacono has been appointed Company Secretary.
Mr. Iacono is a Fellow Certified Practicing Accountant Australia, a Fellow of the Taxation Institute of Australia, and a Tax Agent. He is also the principal and CEO of Adsto International Pty Ltd. Adsto specializes in assisting foreign companies in establishing operations in Australia and Europe and attending to the administrative, fiscal, statutory, secretarial, and reporting requirements for those companies. Adsto has been providing accounting and tax services to Benitec since 2005. Mr. Iacono has served as a Director for several non-listed companies, and he served as a Non-executive Director of Benitec from 2000 to 2002. He also previously served as Managing Director and CEO of Olivetti Australia Pty Ltd and Managing Director and CEO of TA Triumph Adler Australia Pty Ltd.
