Feb. 28--WACO, Texas -- Jack in the Box has a thing for Central Texas.

The fast-food chain is remodeling 19 local stores, including six in the Waco area, "to determine the future look and feel of its restaurants," spokeswoman Kathleen Finn said.

Waco, in effect, is a test zone for Jack in the Box's new store design and color scheme.
