WASHINGTON, Feb. 28 (UPI) -- Campaigns for U.S. congressional seats raised $470.3 million in 2005, an increase of 20.6 percent over 2003, the Federal Election Commission said.

The FEC said U.S. House of Representatives candidates raised $280.1 million last year, an increase of 25.4 percent over the previous "off-year."...
