KANDAHAR, Afghanistan, Feb. 28 (UPI) -- Canadian Brig. Gen. David Fraser took control Tuesday of coalition forces in southern Afghanistan as his U.S. predecessor said fresh violence is expected.
The multinational group that includes Canadian, British, Dutch and U.S. military forces is intended to rebuild Afghanistan.
