BEIJING, Nov 4 Asia Pulse Price movement in China has manifested five main features this year, according to a research report released recently by the Price Monitoring Center of the State Development and Reform Commission:

1. General price level rose faster month by month, and hovered at a high level in the 3rd quarter.

Consumer price rose 4.1 per cent on an annual basis in the first three quarters, 3.4 percentage points higher than the rise in the same period last year. It rose month by month during the period, with the rise from June to September higher than 5 per cent.
