LETTER: 'Lawrence of Arabia' is needed to bring peace.

WHAT we need in Iraq is another T E Lawrence or should I say Lawrence of Arabia, who was worshipped by the people of that region. I do not believe that there will ever be peace by the heavyhanded way events are being handled at present in the Middle East.

Lawrence himself went into many war situations and, at those times, even the enemy looked up to Lawrence.

I believe all the Arab people treated him as one of themselves and simply adored him. Have we another person who could bring peace back to that area of the world.
