Tbilisi, 1 November: The restoration of a rail link between Sochi and Sukhumi "should not lead to a worsening of relations between Russia and Georgia", Russian Transport Minister Igor Levitin said here today.

He added that during meetings in Tbilisi "Georgia put forward its position on this issue. I view this position as a negotiating partner. Russia has its own opinion on the matter in question."
