A CONVOCATION is probably one of the happiest moments in a student's life.

After all the hard work, lectures and books that had to be read, the students are ready to face the real world.

On that special day, students become graduates and receive their diplomas and degrees from the university as a mark of their success.

For Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), its convocation history started on Dec 3, 1977 when 65 students from its science and technology courses received degrees.
