IT has only been two years since Kolej Universiti Kejuruteraan & Teknologi Malaysia (KUKTEM) was established but it has made tremendous advances in a number of fields.

It received the Prime Minister's Award for the e-Management for Education in the Public Sector category last year.

It also won the Merit Award for the Best of Education and Training Application under the MSC-Asia Pacific ICT Awards (MSC-APICTA) in the Electronic Education Management System category.

At the international level, the university's Integrated Management System (IMS) was nominated for the eAsia Awards 2004 in Taipeh, Taiwan. …
