REIGNING pound-for-pound featherweight king Manny Pacquiao has tapped two tough Mindanao fighters as sparmates when he officially kicks off his rigid preparation on Wednesday, Nov. 3, for his upcoming showdown with Thai banger Fahsan 3K Battery.

Junior welter Christopher Saluday and featherweight Arnel Porras will be the regular sparring rivals of Pacquiao when he seriously plunges into training for the Dec. 11 bout that will serve as his final grind before a planned world title rematch with Mexican Juan Manuel Marquez on Feb. 26.

The two sparmates will be quartered in General Santos City, where Pacquiao will be based while training at the gym of businessman Rey ...
