ANOTHER fire hit Metro Manila, reducing to ashes a two-story house in Caloocan City and destroying at least P1 million in property.
It was the 13th incident in five days, during which 13 people died.
The house started burning at about 6 a.m. when flames were seen coming out of its second floor.
The house on Paros Alley, Lot 9, Kaunlaran Village on Dagat-Dagatan Avenue was owned by Amelita Oftana, investigator SFO2 Zoilo Crisostomo said.
Investigators said Oftana, 48, and her three children were sleeping in the sala on the ground floor when fire broke out.
