Since Saturday, vendors have staked out cemeteries in Metro Manila. In fact, some have made the alleys and streets inside and outside the sites their temporary homes.
The Sangandaan Cemetery in Caloocan City is one place where business is alive and even experiencing an expansion.

Beyond the usual variety of sandwiches, fruit juices, sodas, fishballs, candies and junk food, vendors now also sell glassware, clothes, toys, comic books and even power tools.
