HANOI, Nov 1 Asia Pulse - Vietnam's agricultural and rural development sector will take urgent measures to expand the existing markets and seek new ones for fruit exports as it has seen a decrease in the export value of this product over recent years.
The measures will be boosting co-operation with foreign partners and mapping out specific programmes to promote the Vietnamese products' trademarks, building a system of market information and concentrating on potential markets such as China, South Korea, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations and the European Union.
They also include the development of highly competitive fruit and the modernisation of production and product quality management lines.
