SYDNEY, Nov 1 Asia Pulse - The Australian sharemarket is higher at noon, led by the banks and an improvement on Wall Street.
At 1230 AEST, the benchmark S&P/ASX 200 index was 11.1 points higher at 3789.7, while the all ordinaries firmed 9.1 points to 3795.4.
On the Sydney Futures Exchange, the December share price index contract rose 15 points to 3796 - a 5.3 point premium to the underlying index - on a volume of 259,058
