NEW DELHI, Nov 1 Asia Pulse - British cafe chain Costa Coffee will open 300 outlets in India through a franchise agreement with R K Jaipuria Group which will invest Rs 1.50 billion (US$33 million) over the next six years.
"We envisage an investment of Rs 1.50 billion by 2010, during which we expect to achieve the target of opening 300 outlets in India," RKJ Group's Ravi Jaipuria said at a press conference here today.
The first outlet will come up in the National Capital Region (NCR) by March next year.
Costa Coffee plans to open 20 outlets in the first year in the NCR; each outlet will entail an investment of Rs 4-5 million.
