TAIPEI, Nov 1 Asia Pulse - The famous Burberry Check of the noted British fashion brand Burberry is subject to Taiwan's trademark law protection, the Intellectual Property Office (IPO) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs said Saturday.

The office was commenting on reports circulating on Web sites that the black-red-beige Burberry Check is not subject to any trademark law protection and can be copied in fashion goods.
