Just a reminder

Remember to set your clocks back one hour this weekend. It's the time of year where daylight fades earlier and nights are longer.

It's a spring thing now

For awhile, it looked like the Arts & Humanities Council of Charlotte County might have to forfeit the Awesome Art Auction -- its annual fall fund-raiser -- because the previous venue, the Bay Front YMCA, fell victim to Hurricane Charley.

But thanks to some help from AHCCC member, the Visual Arts Center of Punta Gorda, the event will go on as planned, March 20 at the center, 210 Maud St., Punta Gorda.
