ELECTRICITY SUPPLY IN GUANGDONG TO REMAIN TIGHT IN 2005

GUNAGZHOU - Electricity supply in South China's Guangdong Province is expected to remain tight next year owing to rapid growth of the local economy.

The Guangdong Power Group predicted that the province's electricity consumption will reach 270.9 billion kwh of electricity next year with highest load of 45 million kwh, up 13.5 per cent and 13.4 per cent, respectively, over the figures for this year.
