In an effort to bring more women into the field of video game design and more female-centered video games to market, Southern Methodist University TX is offering scholarships in video-game development for women. Working with web-based gaming discussion forum WomenGamers.com, SMU will offer scholarship recipients $18,500 toward tuition for the 18-month program.
