According to IINA, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Minister o Justice and Islamic Affairs, Sheikh Muhammad bin Nakhira Al-Dhahiry, has launched an exhibition on "Islam in Sicily," at the Cultural Academy. The exhibition is organized by the Italian embassy and will continue until November 9. The minister was shown various documentary films depicting the arrival and conquests of Muslims in Sicily and other places in the West.
