Andrew Vine, Chief Reporter THE 250-year story of the Yorkshire Post is to be told in a television documentary being shown tonight.

Read All About It will be shown on Yorkshire Television at 11pm, on the eve of a gala dinner in York to celebrate two-and-a-half centuries of Yorkshire's national newspaper, which has chronicled the events that have shaped both the region and the wider world since 1754.

The programme is presented by Sir Bernard Ingham, Margaret Thatcher's former press secretary and now a Yorkshire Post columnist, more than 50 years after he first joined the paper as a reporter in 1952, staying for almost 10 years. …
