22 OCTOBER 2004 SUVA (Pacnews) - The Fiji Cabinet has agreed to host the 14 South Pacific Tourism Council of Ministers' meeting in Suva in December.

This followed a submission by Minister for Tourism, Pita Nacuva, who said the meeting would discuss several important issues to assist and enhance the efficient and effective operation of the South Pacific Tourism Organisation (SPTO) in 2005.

He said that given tourism's pre-eminent role in Fiji's and the Pacific Islands' economy and its leadership, holding the 14th meeting would give the Council of Ministers first hand information and direct insight into …
