SEOUL, Oct 22 Asia Pulse - South Korean stocks finished higher Friday on gains in technology shares as eased concerns about China's cooling economy helped boost market sentiment.
The benchmark Korea Composite Stock Price Index (KOSPI) rose 7.54 points, or 0.91 per cent, to end at 828.17, and the tech-rich KOSDAQ index was up 1.02 points, or 0.28 per cent, to 359.27.
Volume on the main Korea Stock Exchange was light at 267 million shares worth 1.72 trillion won (US$ 1.51 billion). Gainers outpaced decliners...
