Bishkek, 19 October: An officer of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Chechnya has been detained in Kyrgyzstan, Russian Minister of Internal Affairs Rashid Nurgaliyev, who is attending a joint session of the Kyrgyz and Russian interior ministries, told journalists today.
He said the operation had been carried out jointly with the two countries' law-enforcement departments.
