Chairman, Abeokuta South Local Government of Ogun State, Mr Donaldson Abiodun Ajayi, has been suspended indefinitely from office with immediate effect.

Ajayi, who was suspended by the legislative arm of the Council, was accused of embarking on projects worth over N7 million without the knowledge of the councillors.

Apart from that, he was also alleged to have collected over N100 million from the Federation Account since the inception of his administration without any tangible projects to show for it.
