CHINA UNICOM TO PURCHASE MORE CDMA MOBILE PHONES
BEIJING - China Unicom Co. Ltd. (HKSE:0762) plans to purchase three million more CDMA mobile phones in 2006, sending the 2006 procurement total up to six million.
This effort is to further popularize the company's CDMA service, an industry insider was quoted by China Business News as saying.
