SYDNEY, March 29 Asia Pulse - Consumers might think they're going bananas when they spot the price tags on the nation's most popular fruit.
Just 10 days after Cyclone Larry, which devastated north Queensland's banana industry, the price of bananas is reported to have gone as high as $A8.80 ($US6.19) a kilogram, or about .70 ($US1.20) each.
At Coles (ASX:CML), bananas are retailing at almost $A6 ($US4.22)...
