SYDNEY, March 29 Asia Pulse - The Australian dollar was softer at noon today, unable to recover from US dollar strength overnight after the US Federal Reserve indicated it may not be done lifting interest rates.
At 1200 AEDT the local currency was trading at US$0.7045/50, about half a US cent worse than yesterday's close of 0.7099/04.
