CANBERRA, March 29 Asia Pulse - The sale of the historic Snowy Mountains hydro-electric scheme moved one step closer to reality when the Senate today voted to approve the move.
NSW announced in December it would shed its majority 58 per cent stake, the federal government said in February it would sell its 13 per cent, and Victoria - with 29 per cent - followed suit.
