The University of Michigan at Ann Arbor has failed to provide some students with the academic and financial support needed for success, according to a discrimination complaint filed by a group of black students.
The group, the Coalition for Action Against Racism and Discrimination, claimed in its complaint to the U.S. Education Department's Office for Civil Rights that minority students at Michigan are "intimidated, harassed, and exposed to the oppressive and destructive forces of Jim Crow."
