Before she'll answer a question on what she thinks about the struggle in Iraq, CU graduate student Sophie Heaton looks at a story in the "Beyond Boulder" section of Monday's Colorado Daily.
The story's headline screams out "Worldwide protests continue," but in the UMC's Alferd Packer Grill, it's pretty quiet.
Heaton and fellow CU Music School student Andrew Hoyle, 21, lunch in a corner of the Grill as wet snow falls outside. All around, wool-clad, hat-clad students eat, converse with one another, talk on cell phones, study and read the papers.
Heaton looks up from the headline, thinks for a moment, and then says, somewhat sheepishly, "I don't keep up with the war as much as I should. I'll think about it if I see something that sparks it, though." Heaton is…
