NORTHRIDGE, CA and OSLO, NORWAY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 03/22/2006 -- Gamma Medica-Ideas (GM-I) announced today that it has reached an agreement to supply detector modules to a United States-based manufacturer of baggage screening systems. The detector modules will reduce the time it takes to screen luggage and significantly increase the probability of detecting explosives. GM-I has previously supplied this manufacturer with prototype detector modules that were tested in a next-generation baggage screening system the manufacturer is developing.
