Norway pension fund looks for investment opportunity in India
New Delhi, Mar 21 (PTI) Norwegian Government-owned pension fund, which has invested in stocks of 80 Indian companies, today said its investment in Indian capital markets would grow to half a billion dollars in a year's time.
Size of the fund is 200 billion dollars and is meant to invest in capital markets around the world, Norges Bank (Norway's Central Bank) Governor Svin Gedrem said at an interaction with CII members.
The fund is managed by Norges Bank Investment Maagemnt (NBIM), an investment arm of the central bank.
