In Lubbock, Texas, a retired local police officer came home to find thieves in his house.
James Kimber, the retired officer, arrived at his house on July 28 and noticed that his garage door was ajar. As he entered the house, he retrieved a pistol that he keeps in his laundry room. According to an AP story, he then began searching the house.
