After giving a Sunday sermon, a Wichita, Kansas, pastor had to evict an unwanted trespasser from inside his house.
The Wichita Eagle reported that upon returning to his house on the morning of June 5, Pastor Steven Moler learned from his wife, who was hysterical, and from one of about a dozen guests who had arrived at the home to eat brunch, that a man was rummaging through the house and stealing rifles, even as the group watched.
To put an end to the incident, Moler went into the house and retrieved a pistol, but when he confronted the 26-year old thief in the front yard, the man acted crazed. Moler told the Eagle:
