When five men tried to steal precious gems from two jewelry salesmen, they ran into a hail of lead.

Outside a jewelry store in Little Rock, Arkansas, brothers Charles and Roy Hirshberg, jewelry salesmen, were accosted by five men intent on robbing them. The criminals did manage to grab the salesmen's merchandise, but the salesmen then fought back, pulling guns and firing at the robbers.

When police investigated the March 14 shooting, they confiscated five guns, all belonging to the salesmen, and they located 21 shell casings, all from the five confiscated guns. The brothers stated that they ...
