Mr. John McManus' one page article on "The Evolution of Money" in "The Dwindling Dollar" issue (THE NEW AMERICAN, April 18, 2005) states concisely but accurately all that needs to be said to understand the economic problems faced by the nation today. No matter what sophisticated rhetoric economists wish to use to justify the machinations by which our money is controlled, there is no way that they can argue against the case you make for the falling value of the dollar.
