A gas station clerk of Medford, Massachusetts, identified only as "Wally," fired at two men who were robbing him, according to the December 8 Boston Herald.
Wally, who had been robbed previously, was working in the convenience store at Fred's Gas Auto Service about 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, December 7, when two men in masks came into the store to rob the place. The clerk stopped the robbery by firing seven or eight rounds at the robbers, causing them to flee.
