Distinguished scientist PROFESSOR Terry Baker, who died last month aged 69, was a distinguished scientist and academic of international repute who contributed significantly to healthcare in Bradford.
A former pro-vice-chancellor of Bradford University, he was a man of vision who helped create a specialist plastic surgery and burns unit in the city following the fire at Bradford City's Valley Parade ground in 1985.
