St. Louis -- The American Legal and Financial Network said two member firms recently received awards at the recent mortgage services attorneys summit in Anaheim, Calif.

AMC Mortgage Services, formerly Ameriquest Mortgage Corp., presented the award for best timeline management in a judicial state to Godlbeck McCafferty & McKeever, based in Pennsylvania. The award for best timeline management in a non-judicial state went to Stephens, Millirons, Harrison & Gammons, an Alabama firm.

Matt Bartel, executive director of the AFN, said the organization is excited to recognize the two firms.

"All members of the AFN are the best of the best among legal service providers within the financial services industry, and each member firm of the AFN is dedicated to providing the very best in legal representation, including timeline performance."
