HDTVs: the price is right.(High definition television)

Sales of TV sets are expected to be brisk this holiday season, and for good reason: Prices are at record lows, so you can buy a lot more screen for the money--or spend a whole lot less--than at this time last year.

As enticing as that sounds, it raises some worrisome questions. Will TV prices continue to drop? If you purchase a new set now, will it cost only half as much in a few months, giving you a major case of buyer's remorse?
