I've long valued the insights of The Bank Credit Analyst, primarily because its research is top-notch but also because it is based in Canada and can offer a bit more objectivity.
Needless to say, the BCA commanded my full attention when it issued a report Tuesday asking whether the U.S. stock market is headed into bear territory.
In sum, the answer was no.
