NZNO'S NATIONAL Fair Pay petition, which calls on the Government to provide additional funding to district health boards in order to pay nurses and midwives fairly, is drawing a huge response from around the country. The petition was hunched on International Women's Day last month and runs until International Nurses Day on May 12.

The petition also calls for collective agreements that provide for safe nurse/midwife to patient ratios at all times and for nurses and midwives to be valued so they stay in the profession.
