In Spain, savings bank La Caixa and oil group Repsol YPF have decided to maintain their shareholders' pacts at gas company Gas Natural, even if their respective stakes fall below 15 per cent. La Caixa, with 33 per cent of Gas Natural, and Repsol YPF, with 30 per cent, agreed in 2000 to collaborate within the company as long as their individual stakes remained above the 15 per cent threshold.
