Hull: A girl is setting her sights on the next Winter Olympics after becoming the city's first skater to win the British Novice Championships.

Jessica Roebuck, 13, who trains at Hull Arena, won the accolade after a tough competition at Ice Sheffield.

Steve Yorston, manager at Hull Arena, said: "It's a marvellous achievement that somebody who trains week in, week out in Hull can reach such heights.
